MACE Launch Canvas Tote Bags in aid of Debra

May saw the launch of a new initiative from MACE to help raise awareness and funds for their charity partner Debra.
14-year-old Sophia Dawson was diagnosed with EB shortly after birth, and along with MACE and Debra Ambassador, Johnny Sexton, they are leading a national campaign with MACE to raise awareness and funds for those living with the rare skin condition. Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is a rare and currently incurable genetic skin condition often referred to as “butterfly skin.”
Sophia has created a beautiful butterfly design that has been reproduced on limited edition MACE and Debra canvas tote bags. The limited-edition bags are available now in MACE stores nationwide, with proceeds going toward essential services, research and advocacy efforts led by Debra.
To help drive awareness of the tote bags, we set Johnny Sexton a challenge – to show us what is in his MACE bag? #WhatsInMyBag. Watch to find out what Johnny keeps in his MACE bag and visit MACE Ireland on social media to enter a special competition to win some merch signed by Johnny by showing us what’s in your bag! (Competition closes June 25th, 2025).
Please support Debra by purchasing a bag today from your local MACE.
Thank you for your support.
