MACE Ballinrobe located on the Castlebar Road in Mayo held their second annual summer fundraising event on July 18th this year raising funds for MACE’s charity partner Debra, The Butterfly Skin charity.

This forecourt store includes Insomnia coffee, ice cream, a hot and cold for food’s sake deli with seating, grocery range, freshly baked bread and cakes, the MACE Right Options Range, Deposit Return Scheme machine and full off-licence.

Mid-West Radio live broadcasted from store on the day promoting the various instore offers and entertainment and chatted with staff, locals and very Special guest Susan Woodcock from the Debra team. A local Traditional Irish dancing group then took the floor for a winning performance. There was also face painting and delicious food sampling throughout the day. The main event was the charity spin-the-wheel raffle with ticket sales and other instore offers in aid of Debra, the Butterfly Skin charity. Midwest radio kindly broadcasted the raffle pulling out the 15 lucky prize winners.

The store raised an amazing €2045 in total – well done to all and special thanks to Store Owner Dermot Fallon, Store Manager Trevor Kennedy and all of their staff.
